How To Get Russian Visa?

What is required to obtain Russian visa in your home country?

  • When sending your booking to Escape Travel please indicate that you will be applying for Russian visa in your home country.

  • After your booking is confirmed by Escape Travel you will receive Escape Travel visa support letter with Escape Travel stamp and authorized signature. This letter will contain your full name, dates of stay in Russia, the name of the hotel and Escape Travel reference number, under which it is registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

  • Please apply to the Russian Consulate in your home country with this visa support letter and duly filled application form of the Russian Consulate. If necessary the copy of the same visa support letter can be faxed to the Russian Consulate directly.

  • Please note in this case all necessary consular fees should be paid directly to the Russian Consulate visa department in your home country according to the Consulate tariff. Please make sure that you check in advance what additional requirements the Russian Consulate in your home country may have.

What is required to obtain Russian visa in Finland?

  • When sending your booking to Escape Travel please indicate that you want to obtain Russian visa in Helsinki, Finland before your trip to Russia starts. The cost of obtaining Russian visa is $ 75 per person inclusive of all consular fees. This amount will be added to your invoice.

  • After your booking is confirmed by Escape Travel please mail the following documents to the Finnish operator who will be responsible for your Russian visa processing:

          1. Completed visa application form of the Russian Consulate,
          2. Clear copy of the information and photo pages of valid passport,
          3. Three identical visa-sized photos (Laser copies are not accepted!);

  • Important note: The above documents must be in hands of Finnish operator Futurist OY 15 days prior to the beginning of the tour. Mail necessary documents to the following address: Futurist OY, Kasarmikatu 14 B 15, FIN-00130 Helsinki, Finland

  • Your Russian visa, travel documents and necessary vouchers will be delivered by Futurist OY to your hotel in Helsinki the night before your tour to Russia starts. Ask Escape Travel about special rates for hotels in Helsinki.

  • Visas can be obtained with 4-5 days notice at additional consular fee. The cost of express Russian visa processing is $ 125 per visa inclusive of all consular fees. This amount will be added to your invoice.
